The Olympic flame from Greece arrived at South Korea's Incheon International Airport on Wednesday, 100 days before the opening of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in early February.

The first torch bearer is You Young, a 13-year-old South Korean figure skating phenomenon. She and 7,499 others will run a combined 2,018 kilometers on a route that includes a portion close to the demarcation line between the two Koreas.

The flame was lit in ancient Olympia, Greece, on Oct. 24 before travelling around the country for a week. Kim Yu Na, the 2010 Vancouver Olympic champion in women's figure skating, brought the flame to the airport located on the outskirts of Seoul from Greece.

The 17-day Olympics, the first Winter Olympics ever hosted in South Korea, will start on Feb. 9.
