A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 rocked western Nepal on Friday night, killing over 100 people and leaving major damage including collapsed homes, according to local police and officials.

Deaths from the quake were reported in Jajarkot district, around 300 kilometers northwest of the Nepalese capital Kathmandu, and its surrounding areas, they said. The quake was also felt in New Delhi in neighboring India.
