Two-time major champion Collin Morikawa shot a bogey-free 7-under 63 Sunday to win the Zozo Championship, the only PGA Tour event played in Japan, by six strokes.

The 26-year-old from California had a 14-under 266 total at Narashino Country Club in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, for his sixth career PGA Tour title and first since the 2021 British Open.

Morikawa, who began the final round two shots off the lead in fourth place, made four birdies on the front nine and three more coming home.

"It feels so good, I can't even explain it," said Morikawa, who earned $1.53 million for the win. "I knew I was going to get here at some point. It's like getting your first win, your first major."

"This win means the world. Being in Japan and being half Japanese. A lot has come through over the past week."

American compatriots Eric Cole and Beau Hossler shared second place after rounds of 70.

Robby Shelton (65), also of the United States, and Japan's Ryo Ishikawa (67) finished in a tie for fourth at 7 under, while Australia's Min Woo Lee (65) was a further shot behind in a share of sixth.

Third-round leader Justin Suh of the United States struggled to a 74, dropping into a tie for 10th at 5 under.
