Japan's Naoya Inoue and American Stephen Fulton weighed in successfully Monday on the eve of their hotly anticipated WBC and WBO world super bantamweight title match at Tokyo's Ariake Arena.

The battle between undefeated boxers will see the 29-year-old Fulton put his two belts on the line against 30-year-old challenger Inoue, a three-division world champion making his super bantam debut.

Inoue weighed in at 55.2 kilograms, while Fulton came in right on the 55.3-kg limit before the pair glared at each other in front of the cameras for more than 30 seconds.

"I'm getting fired up. It'll be a good bout," said Inoue, nicknamed "Monster," who is aiming to become the second Japanese man to claim world championships in four weight divisions.

Inoue has a 24-0 career record with 21 knockouts, while Fulton is 21-0 with eight KOs.

Inoue last December became the first Japanese boxer to sweep the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF belts in a weight division when he unified the bantamweight class with an 11th-round knockout of Britain's Paul Butler.

He then relinquished all four bantamweight belts to move up to super bantamweight and launch his bid to become the world's first boxer to sweep the four belts in two divisions.
