Flyhalf Matt McGahan contributed 16 points, including a second-half try, as he marshaled BlackRams Tokyo to a 41-26 win Friday over Japan Rugby League One opponents Kobe Steelers.
Kobe arrived at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground looking to avoid a third straight defeat, while BlackRams were aiming for their first three-game win streak of the season.

McGahan slotted an early penalty before Marcell Coetzee put Steelers ahead 5-3 with his 22nd-minute try. The lead was short-lived, with Toshiya Takahashi's converted try sending BlackRams into the break leading 10-5.
Junpei Yukawa's five-pointer and McGahan's conversion extended the lead to 17-5 early in the second half, with the men in black maintaining a double-digit buffer the rest of the way.
