But while Shibuno parred the final hole, the South Korean birdied to hole out with a 71 after three final-day birdies and two bogeys.

"I can build on having no bogeys from the third and fourth days when there were difficult winds and with tough pin setups," Shibuno said. "I couldn't win but I personally think it was a reward for my hard work. I'll be doing so even more going forward."

Harukyo Nomura had a 69 and finished tied for 48th at 3-over, while Yuka Saso was a shot behind in 56th and Ayaka Furue a further two shots back in 67th.
