The operator of Universal Studios Japan in Osaka unveiled to the press Tuesday its two new attractions featuring characters from the picture book series "Curious George" and the animated film series "Minions" ahead of their weekend debut.
"Playing with Curious George," a theater show of an original story about the little monkey using three-dimensional video holograms, and "Minion Hachamecha Ice," a ride attraction with four-seat cars themed on fictional yellow creatures wearing goggles, will open Saturday.
The amusement park will also start limited-time performances by Minions using artificial snow, starting from Saturday.
"We hope visitors feel a sense of unity with the characters through the attractions," said a company spokesperson.
