Takafumi Hori will remain at the helm of Urawa Reds for next season, the newly crowned Asian club champions announced on Sunday.

Hori, who took over from Serbian boss Mihailo Petrovic in July, steered Reds to their second Asian Champions League title and first in 10 years with victory over Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal in the second leg of the final on Saturday.

The 50-year-old Hori has won five, drawn five and lost two J-League games this season since replacing Petrovic, who he had worked under as a coach since 2012.

Hori took over as manager for a second time. He was in charge of the team for the last two months of the 2011 season after then boss Zeljko Petrovic was dismissed with team embroiled in a relegation battle.
