Nathan Chen of the United States won the men's singles figure skating gold medal Thursday at the Beijing Winter Games, while Yuma Kagiyama claimed silver for Japan and compatriot Shoma Uno took bronze. Japanese great Yuzuru Hanyu finished just off the podium in fourth.
