Saitama Wild Knights ran in seven first-half tries Sunday in a 61-29 win over Sagamihara Dynaboars that kept the defending champions unbeaten atop the Japan Rugby League One standings.

Dynaboars briefly led 3-0 on Matt Toomua's penalty before Tomoki Osada dotted down for the first of five unanswered Saitama tries at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground.

Japan playmaker Rikiya Matsuda was perfect from the kicking tee, nailing all seven of his conversions to help Wild Knights take a 49-8 lead into the halftime break.
