Japanese Olympians Ikuma Horishima and Anri Kawamura reached the podium Saturday in the first moguls competition of the freestyle skiing World Cup season.
Beijing Winter Games men's bronze medalist Horishima came second at Finland's Ruka resort, while Kawamura, last season's overall World Cup runner-up, finished third in the women's event.

Canadian Mikael Kingsbury dominated the men's field, scoring 84.50 to finish 4.02 ahead of Horishima, with Australia's Matt Graham 4.38 behind the winner in third.
The reigning Olympic champion, Australia's Jakara Anthony, totaled 81.69 to run away with the women's gold ahead of Kawamura and France's Perrine Laffont, who finished with identical scores of 78.33.
The Frenchwoman took silver ahead of the 18-year-old Kawamura via a tiebreaker, however, thanks to her higher turn scores.
