The Takamatsu Street Performance Festival will be held in Takamatsu, a port city in the western Japan prefecture of Kagawa, on March 26 to 27.
Performers at the annual event will include comedy duo Gabez, whose pantomime performance at the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony last July featured 50 pictograms of sports. Balloon performer Syan, winner of the world championship in 2015, will also take part.
The upcoming festival was originally scheduled for last autumn, but it was put off due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event will be livestreamed at http://www.machikadomusic.net/.
