Baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels took part in the All-Star Home Run Derby on Monday.

The two-way sensation became the first Japanese player to participate in a Home Run Derby the night before Major League Baseball's annual Midsummer Classic, but he was upset after falling to Washington Nationals star Juan Soto after a tiebreaker swingoff.
