A U.S. citizen has died of a new pneumonia-causing coronavirus in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, a U.S. government source told Kyodo News on Saturday, in what is the first American death resulting from the deadly virus.
The new coronavirus, which is believed to have originated late last year in Wuhan, known as a major international business and transportation hub, has so far infected more than 30,000 people and killed over 700 in China.
