The World Rugby Museum at England's Twickenham Stadium opened a special exhibition Thursday presenting the history of the sport in Japan.

The exhibition was organized to coincide with Saturday's test match between England and Japan, the 2019 World Cup host.

Among the 50 to 60 pieces of memorabilia on display is a Brave Blossoms' jersey from the Rugby World Cup 2015 in England, when Japan recorded its best-ever result of three wins in the pool stage.

Other items include past national team kits and a Keio University rugby team jersey dating back to the beginning of the 20th century.

A video of an interview with former Japan and current England head coach Eddie Jones is also part of the display.

According to its website, the museum holds over 38,000 recorded objects, 15,000 pieces of archival material and 9,000 photographs.
