Japan midfielder Keisuke Honda scored a brace in Pachuca's 6-2 away rout of Puebla in the Mexican first division Friday.

Honda opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and followed up in the 50th with another, after two goals by winger Sebastian Palacios, to make it 4-0.

Midfielder Alejandro Chumacero and forward Lucas Cavallini netted for Puebla in the second half, but two more goals by Palacios sealed the victory.

Honda's strikes were his eighth and ninth goals this season for Pachuca, who sit in eighth place in the league table.

In the Belgian first division, Japan midfielder Ryota Morioka scored the opener in Anderlecht's 2-1 win at Charleroi. It was his fourth goal of the season for Anderlecht, who now have one win and one loss in the championship playoffs.
