Japanese rock band FLOW has announced a Latin America leg of their world tour as the five-piece celebrate their 15th anniversary.  

The “FLOW 15th Anniversary TOUR 2018 “Anime-Shibari”—Latin America Tour—” will see the band perform nine shows in five countries across the region with performances set to feature all 21 of the group’s anime theme songs.  

The Latin America leg kicks off with two shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 13 and 14, before continuing on to Chile, Peru, Brazil and Mexico.

Since their debut overseas performance in Dallas, U.S. in 2006, FLOW has been active performers overseas. In 2015, the band wrapped up their first world tour which saw them perform in eight countries. To date, they have performed 43 shows in 18 countries.

As part of their 15th anniversary celebrations FLOW is set to release a greatest hits album featuring music and videos from anime.  The album, entitled “FLOW THE BEST ~ANIME SHIBARI~,” will be released on March 7 with a track list that includes “GO!!!,” the theme song from Naruto, “DAYS” from Eureka Seven, and ”COLORS” from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion among a total of 21 anime theme songs sung by the band.

On the back of their greatest hits release the band will kick off the Japan leg of their tour in April, before heading over to Latin America for July.  

FLOW sings many top-ranked anime theme songs and, as Japanese anime continues to gain global recognition, their popularity is overwhelming.  The upcoming Latin America tour will be the group’s 5th time to perform in Brazil and they call Latin America their second home.

FLOW is a 5-piece rock band made of up KOHSHI (vocals), KEIGO (vocals), TAKE (guitar), GOT’S (bass), and IWASAKI (drums).

Siblings KOHSHI and TAKE have been making music together since 1993. The pair formed FLOW in 1998. KEIGO joined in 1999 with GOT’S and IWASAKI joining in 2000 to form the current group.

FLOW made their major debut with the single “Blaster” in 2003, showing the world their impressive musical strength and versatility, including their signature twin vocals. Since their electric debut, FLOW has provided a wide variety of anime opening and closing themes including: “GO!!!,” opening theme for Naruto, “COLORS,” opening theme for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and most recently, “Kaze no Uta” and “INNOSENSE” for Tales of Zestiria the X.

As masterful of live performers, FLOW is heralded as being energetic, exciting, and electrifying. In 2008 the group had successful performances in the Nippon Budokan. Since then, they’ve performed live all over Japan and the world, traveling to 18 countries including those in Asia, North America, South America, and Europe with the group showing no signs of slowing down.

The band has put on a record number of shows in Japan and continue to delight audiences around the globe with their unique sound and incredible live performances.

FLOW entered their 15th anniversary year in July 2017, and is collaborating with fellow Japanese rock band GRANRODEO, reuniting for the first time since 2014. Their new single “Howling” was released on January 24, 2018.
