The “AMBITIONS U.S. TOUR 2017,” which will also include stops in Canada, is set to kick off at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Brooklyn Bowl, July 6.  Guest artists Set It Off and Palisades will provide support on the coast-to-coast tour which will continue through mid-August.

The band are also due to perform at the 2017 Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards, Fueled by Monster Energy where they are nominated for “Best Breakthrough Band”.  The awards are set take place July 17 at Cleveland, Ohio’s Quicken Loans Arena.

Earlier this year, ONE OK ROCK returned with their widely acclaimed debut for the Fueled By Ramen label, “AMBITIONS”.  The album, which features tracks “We Are,” “Taking Off,” “Bedroom Warfare” and “I Was King”, topped the Global Album Chart with some 315,000 sales making it the best-selling album on the planet during the first week of its release.

“AMBITIONS” follows ONE OK ROCK’s chart-topping seventh album, “35xxxv (Deluxe Edition)”, released 2015.  This latest recording is the second all English-language release from the iconic rockers coming out of Tokyo.

Comprising vocalist Taka, guitarist Toru, drummer Tomoya, and bassist Ryota, ONE OK ROCK are among Japan’s most popular rock outfits, with each of their last five releases debuting in the nation’s Top 5, including the chart-toppers “AMBITIONS” and “35xxxv.” The latter release marked the band’s official U.S. debut and first all English-language release.  The album features the global hit single/video “Mighty Long Fall”, which now boasts over 40 million views on YouTube alone.

Known for thrilling live shows, the band recently completed a sold-out headline run in the United States and also performed two massive concerts at Nagisaen in Shizuoka, Japan before audiences totaling more than 110,000. The performances were captured on the official live video for the group’s single “Taking Off”.

ONE OK ROCK are no strangers to life on the road in North America having teamed up with acts such as All Time Low, Sleeping With Sirens, Issues, and 5 Seconds of Summer for extensive U.S tours in the past.  The group have also made explosive main stage appearances at rock festivals in Europe, South America, Australia, and the U.S., including a well-received run on the 2014 Vans Warped Tour.
