According to a statement released by the Highlanders, Squire has inked a two-year deal with the Red Hurricanes, who returned to the Top League after one season in the second tier.

He said in a statement released by NTT Docomo that he is looking forward to making Japan his new home as he has enjoyed all of his stays in the country.

The side also announced that they have signed South Korean lock Kim Sang Jin. The 25-year-old has five caps for the national side.

The Top League will not kick off until January 2020 following a break after the World Cup closes in November.
