Newly promoted Oita Trinita have acquired Thailand international midfielder Thitipan Puangchan on loan, the J-League first-division side announced Friday.

The 25-year-old Thitipan joins this year through next Jan. 1 from Thai third-tier side Bangkok Glass. He is set to join Trinita after the Asian Cup, where he is on duty with Thailand.
Thitipan joins two Thai compatriots in J1, Consadole Sapporo striker Chanathip Songkrasin and Yokohama F Marinos midfielder Theerathon Bunmathan, who played last season for Vissel Kobe.
