The Japan Coast Guard has released a video showing a boar swimming in the Seto Inland Sea, western Japan.

The boar swims, keeping his nose in the air and using legs, and approaches a coast guard boat around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday about 3 kilometers north of Shikokuchuo, Ehime Prefecture, in the 90-second footage released by the Imabari Coast Guard Office the day after.

The crew came close to the boar, which was less than 1 meter in length, believing it might have been a floating object, according to the coast guard.

In November 2017, a boar was also spotted swimming in the sea off the nearby city of Imabari.
