Women's world No. 8 Karolina Pliskova said Saturday she is looking forward to having a full house cheering on her Japanese opponent Naomi Osaka in Sunday's Toray Pan Pacific final.

"To be honest, I don't think Japanese fans are that noisy," Pliskova said. "Believe me, I've experienced worse crowds than here. Of course they are going to cheer for her. That's normal. I don't have any fear of that."

"The crowd is still not going to win you a match, so we both still have to go out and play tennis," the Czech player said. "But for sure, there is going to be a full crowd. Almost for every match there have been full crowds, so that's amazing in this tournament."

Pliskova enters the final having split her two career matches with Osaka. They last played when Osaka won her maiden tour title this spring at Indian Wells.

"She's playing well now...with confidence," Pliskova said. "I know her game. I have my weapons. She also has some. It's going to be about serves and also mistakes, but I believe I have a chance."

Despite having spent more time on court than any other player in this tournament, Pliskova said fatigue will not be a final factor.

"I think tomorrow's going to be a different day. It's a final and you just forget about all those minutes you've spent on court. It's the last one, so I just want to put everything I have left in my body and I'm sure it's going to be a great match."
