Japanese midfielder Ryota Morioka scored his sixth goal of the season in the Belgian first division on Wednesday as Waasland-Beveren defeated Kortrijk 2-1 at home.

With the game tied 1-1, Morioka got on the end of a cross from the left to head the winner in the 80th minute at Freethielstadion.

"A really good ball came my way," said Morioka, who joined Waasland-Beveren in June. "The numbers (of goals and assists) are really important. I need to continue with what I'm doing."

Pylyp Budkivsky opened the scoring for Kortrijk in the 52nd minute, but Ibrahima Seck equalized 19 minutes later.

Honda netted in the 35th minute from outside of the box when Pachuca was leading 1-0. He ran on to a through pass to score again nine minutes later, before he was replaced midway through the second half.

Erick Gutierrez netted the first goal for Pachuca, and Angel Sagal and German Cano were also on target.
