A Kyodo News drone captured the following footage showing the extent of flooding in Kyushu, southwestern Japan, following record rainfall in the region.

At least seven people have been confirmed dead as a result of the flooding and mudslides which came as a result of the severe downpours.

The images show Asakura City in Fukuoka Prefecure on July 7, 2017.
